Discover the heartwarming charm of Rees Café Redditch, located at 13 Church Rd, Redditch B97 4AB, where each cup of coffee and every slice of cake comes with a generous portion of community spirit and purpose. This delightful café is more than just a place to grab a quick bite—it's a vibrant social hub that operates as a charity shop guided by the hands of dedicated volunteers.

Step inside and be embraced by a cozy atmosphere that invites relaxation and connection. The café’s eclectic décor, adorned with books, bric-a-brac, and gently-used clothing for sale, creates a unique environment that encourages you to linger over your beverage and enjoy the company of kind-hearted strangers. With the aroma of fresh coffee wafting through the air, you can't help but feel invited to unwind in this serene space.

One of the standout offerings here is the highly praised bacon sandwich—a simple delight that patrons rave about. Paired with a perfectly brewed cup of tea served from a charming teapot, it embodies the comforting vibe of home-cooked goodness. And let’s not forget the selection of mouth-watering cakes that beckon from the counter, each one a sweet testament to the café’s commitment to good taste and community spirit.

What sets Rees Café apart is its mission. All proceeds go toward supporting young individuals who have transitioned from care, aiding them as they navigate the challenges of independence. This noble cause is firsthand experienced by patrons who appreciate their contributions—it’s more than just having a meal; it’s about making a difference in people’s lives. As one customer, Linda R Evans, poignantly shared, "This café offers the support especially if a child wants to further their education and go to university." It’s clear that beyond the food and drink, the café serves a critical role in the community.

This is a lovely place. It's charity run by volunteers, the coffee is great and the food tasty. And all in an ambiance of books, bricabrac and clothing for sale for a good cause.

This cafe is a charity shop too, all money raised is put towards supporting ex children in care, once a child is 18 they are encouraged to move out, get a council flat and look after themselves, sadly alot of children are not ready for the big wide world and struggle, this place offers the support especially if a child wants to further their education and go to university. I was there as a guest for a young persons 18th birthday party.
